About the system
The GIRVAS content management system is a multilingual, multi-profile, free, open-source content management system from Karelian Developer (Individual Entrepreneur Andrey Ruslanovich Shestakov), aimed at creating a web resource optimized for content loading speed, creating a web resource of any type with the ability to publish content in different languages with the possibility of subsequent indexing by Search engines. The system's development began in 2021 by individual entrepreneur Andrey Shestakov. The management system is written in the general-purpose programming language PHP without the use of third-party frameworks. It is based on a proprietary engine.
On June 17, 2024, the program was registered in the Registry of Computer Programs through the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). On November 27 of the same year, based on the minutes of the meeting of the software expert council of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, "GIRVAS" was added to the Registry of Russian Software.
On March 21, 2025, an application was filed to register the trademark "Content Management System GIRVAS" to legally protect the company's logo.
Functional Specifications
- Creation and management of posts and static pages (without dynamic content updates), which may contain various graphic elements;
- Content structure organization: creating and managing categories for posts for automatic sorting, creating simplified content navigation for quick searching;
- Organizing multi-level access to content and specific functionality by registering users, as well as creating and managing user groups for subsequent customization of access rights to specific functionality;
- Providing the ability for users to discuss content by writing comments under posts;
- Providing the ability to define the website's appearance;
- Organizing analytics and automatic reporting on website performance and user actions;

The GIRVAS Content Management System is free software that may only be distributed by its official distributor. Currently, such distributor is Sole Proprietor Andrey Ruslanovich Shestakov (OGRNIP 323100000029062). Users who decide to use this software agree to have reviewed and accepted the License Agreement.
ATTENTION! If the License Agreement is violated, the Licensor reserves the right to file a claim with the User (Licensee) demanding compliance with this License Agreement, with the possibility of resolving the legal dispute out of court. Otherwise, the Licensor may file a lawsuit against the User.
