We continue to work actively to protect our intellectual property and strengthen our position in the IT solutions market. Recently, we filed an application to register a combined trademark for our first software product — the GIRVAS content management system.
For us, this is not just a formality, but an important step in development. Registering a trademark is a guarantee that our product and its unique appearance will be protected from copying and unfair use. We are confident that this will allow us to move forward even more confidently, develop GIRVAS and offer our clients modern and reliable solutions.
We would like to remind you that this is not our first initiative to protect the brand. In February of this year, we filed an application to register a combined trademark with the name of our company — "Karelian Developer". Thus, we are taking a comprehensive approach to protecting both the corporate name and our key products.
What has changed in the new "GIRVAS" logo?
We have preserved the main idea, meaning and brand recognition, but have made a number of important changes. Now the logo is made entirely in Cyrillic, which emphasizes our identity and focus on the domestic market. The pictorial elements have also been redesigned: the composition now includes silhouettes of petals and a mountain landscape, symbolizing the harmony of technology and nature, as well as our respect for Karelian roots.
The new logo combines two verbal elements - the name of the "GIRVAS" system and the explanatory phrase "Content Management System", as well as two pictorial elements - petals and a mountain landscape. We are confident that this approach will make our brand even more recognizable and closer to users.
When to expect the process to be completed?
The trademark registration process is not a quick process and takes time. It is expected that all stages will be completed by the end of 2025 or early 2026. We are closely monitoring the progress of the applications and will be sure to keep you updated on all the news.
